President's Message

Leadership and Vision for NAPCH

A message from our President about NAPCH's mission, goals, and commitment to K9 professional excellence.

PRESIDENTS MESSAGE

 February 2025

Fellow NAPCH Members,

I hope your Holidays went well and you and your families are well! I want to

apologize for this message coming late but we are still having some website issues that

hopefully will be rectified soon.

Alpena 2024 was a huge success. We had nearly 350 participants. What

made this training seminar special was the participation by the membership. Our

Master Trainers and trainers needed assistance at their sites and many members

stepped up. That is what this organization is about! Alpena 2025 is scheduled for

September 27 th thru October 2nd . Registration will begin in mid June and will be

announced. At the Membership meeting the members voted on the updated By-Laws

and minor changes to the certification requirements. (These will be posted on the

website soon). The Membership also nominated Board members Al Daisley, Bryan

Szostak, who ran unopposed, and Pando Stepanis as the new Canada Vice President.

Nominations were also held for two Trustee positions and congratulations to Mike Raby

and Dave Stone to retain their positions. NAPCH also welcomed 5 new Master Trainers

and 9 new Trainers to the Cadre.

I want to thank Bryan Szostak for setting up the e-voting that took place for

the Trustee positions. This new way of electronically handling the ballots saved NAPCH

over $4,000 in making the ballots, envelopes and mailing to and from the members.

As we move forward NAPCH continues to grow in membership. I am also

receiving inquiries for areas to conduct Regional Seminars. These will be placed on

NAPCH Facebook for up to date training.

Please stay safe! Train for what you do on the street, business or Hospital as

your Community is counting on you!

Terry
